HumminGuru Ultrasonic Record Cleaner
Record Cleaning Program
The HumminGuru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner is a high-end, automatic record cleaning machine that uses ultrasonic vibrations to deep clean vinyl records, removing dirt from grooves without damaging them, followed by a static-free, filtered air drying process. It is extremely effective, simple to use and can restore records to near-mint condition. This cleaning process significantly improves the sound quality by reducing surface noise and fingerprint smudges.
We will clean each record with our HumminGuru Ultrasonic vinyl cleaner for $5 per disc. This includes replacing the original paper sleeve with a Mobile Fidelity Anti Static, Non-Scratching inner sleeve. Also available are genuine Diskeeper Ultimate Outer 5.0 sleeves for $1.00 each.
Record Pi
Record Flattening Program
The Record Pi system works by sandwiching a warped record between two heavy metal alloy plates and proprietary insulating “Groove Guards”. This assembly is then placed inside a heating case where the temperature is precisely controlled using an external controller.
Typically, a record is heated at a temperature of 125°F for several hours and then allowed to cool completely within the device for at least 45 minutes. Severely warped records may require multiple “baking” sessions or an increase in temperature to be successfully flattened.
We will flatten your record with our Record Pi for $10 per disc. Any used/dirty albums must be ultrasonically cleaned with our HumminGuru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner before being flattened.
We reserve the right to deny any record cleaning or flattening service as well as limit the number of records customers can bring in for these services.
